I teach both harp and piano lessons! My desire for my studio is for it to be a warm, kind, fun, and interactive environment. Students of all ages and experience levels are welcome. It is not necessary to have any prior harp or piano experience to begin lessons with me.

Rocket city harpist
I dreamed of becoming a professional harpist ever since I saw a harp for the first time on a family vacation to Dollywood when I was 5 years old. After years of dreaming, hard work, and saving up my money, I purchased my first harp and began taking harp lessons from Katherine Newman when I was 14. I studied harp all through high school, graduated, and began pursuing a music performance degree with Emily Waggoner at Bob Jones University. After completing my freshman year, I transferred back home to the University of Alabama in Huntsville to continue studying under Ms. Newman’s tutelage. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with my B.A. in Music Performance with a harp emphasis in 2017.
